Edheads-Simple Machines

This website has many tools but the activity that I have used in a unit was the simple machines interactive activities.This website allows the students to interactively discover simple and compound machines.  The students love this website and don't even realize that they are learning because they are having fun.  When I used this in my unit I first started with the simple machine activities and then moved into the compound machines.  I would model the activities for the first few days and then once the students knew the routine and knew what was expected I would allow them to work in partners and go through the activities.

Getting Started

This blog will be set up to assist teachers in expanding their instruction by incorporating websites and technology. I will include websites and/or materials with their descriptions.  This will be a great resource to use when wanting to use interactive and fun ways to teach your students.
